Princesses With Purpose: Creating Beauty | One-Day Girls' Event (Ages 6–11)

Teach girls the joy of creating beauty for the people they love!

Princesses With Purpose is a one-day event for girls ages 6–11 that helps every girl grow a godly sense of self-worth and see the beauty God created her to bring into the world. The girls come dressed up, the room is made beautiful just for them, and the women of your church teach, serve, and sit beside them all day long. Biblical womanhood is woven gently through every teaching, small group, and activity, so the girls see it lived out, not just explained.

Creating Beauty is the most hands-on Princesses With Purpose. God is the first Creator. He made a beautiful world, called it very good, and made us in His image, so we get to create beauty too (Genesis 1:31, NIV). Girls learn to see everyday jobs, like tidying a room or helping with dinner, as chances to create beauty and bless others, and then they practice it all day long.

The Day at a Glance

• Teaching: The Joy of Creating Beauty (Genesis 1:31 and Colossians 3:23, NIV). A mindshift from "I have to" to "I get to," and ways to beautify your space, bless others "just because," and enjoy your good work.
• Hands-On Lesson: A Feast to Share (1 Peter 4:9-10, NIV). A leader demonstrates how to build a beautiful charcuterie table, including a meat flower, and then the girls build the whole lunch tablescape together in teams. Pictures first, then pray, then feast!
• Dessert Chopped Championship: table teams get a bag of goodies (with a sealed mystery ingredient!), 20 minutes to create, and a panel of three judges. "Use what you have" (Exodus 4:2, NIV).
• Activities: napkin folding, three creative ice breakers, and the photo booth. Set up a cozy living room or an outdoor picnic.
