The Light Has Come: 25-Day Family Advent Devotional for Kids (Ages 4–12)

Make Jesus the center of your Christmas, one night at a time! The Light Has Come is a 25-day family Advent devotional that walks your family through God's great promise. It starts with the light God made on the very first page of the Bible and ends at the manger, where Immanuel, God with us, came to bring us back to Him.

Start on December 1 and read one day each evening through Christmas morning. It takes about 10 minutes a night, and you can use it again every year, so it can become a family tradition.

Each Day Includes

• Read It: a Bible passage to read from your family Bible
• Hear It: a short devotion to read aloud (about 3 minutes)
• Then & Now: who God first spoke to, and what it shows us about His heart today, so kids learn Scripture in context
• Talk About It: one question for Little Ones (ages 4–6) and one for Big Kids (ages 7–12)
• Pray It: a simple family prayer
• Shine Your Light: one small way to live it out that day

The Journey

• Week 1: The Promise of Light. Creation, the garden, Abraham, King David, Isaiah, and Micah
• Week 2: The Light Is Coming. Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary, and Joseph
