We believe that Kid’s Ministry should be fun, but if all we ever give our kiddos when we meet is fun, then we are doing no better than giving them dessert for every meal.

We fail to realize that what we win them with we win them to. If we win them with entertainment and low commitment, we win them to entertainment and low commitment.
We love to have fun, but if the only reason our children want to be in our ministries is to play, then we are missing the point. We are not preparing them to be strong in the Lord, to know who they are in Christ, to know God’s heart, and we are winning them to the fun, not to Christ. Brothers and sisters, may that never be for the ministry God’s has placed in your care and oversight.
We want children in our homes and ministry that know God, know how much God loves them, and who shine brightly for His glory! We are focused on teaching them the gospel, helping them build a relationship with the Holy Spirit, and equipping them to live BIG for God buy knowing and being doers of His Word.
At Salt & Light Kid’s Co., we have made it our mission to be about God’s mission, making disciples for Christ, and helping our kids build a relationship with Him. We don’t just want our kiddos to memorize Bible “stories”, but to know the Bible as the historical account of our faith. We believe that God’s Word is 100% true, is our instruction manual for life, and we want to equip our kids to know how to read and apply His word to their lives. God’s ways are best, and we know that they will soar in life as they learn to listen to God and obey His Word.
